Overall

Free People overalls, top (similar) and sunnies, Carlos by Carlos Santana boots (similar), and assorted bangles (similar

Weekends off call for comfy attire. I'm definitely the type of girl who loves to twirl around in a pretty dress and tall boots, but occasionally I'll opt for something a little more casual. But of course, I had to keep it girly with a flowy top and an armful of bangles

I've had my eye on these overalls since starting at Free People two years ago, but decided to finally bite the bullet and get them a few days ago. I couldn't be happier with them! The material is super stretchy and comfortable, I almost wore them all weekend!

Weekends off

It's been a long semester, but now it's finally over! I chose to celebrate with brunch and pottery painting with a good friend that I don't get to see nearly enough.

We started out our day with some brunch at Lulu's a cute little spot just down the street from my apartment in Allston. The mimosas were amazing and the food was even better.

We spent our afternoon painting pottery at the Brookline Clay Room. If you're still at a loss for last minute holiday presents, I would really recommend this place! I made a mug for myself (featuring some very sassy succulents) as well as something for my boyfriend.

It was a great way to spend my long-awaited Saturday off.

With Love

To me, there is nothing that makes me feel more beautiful that a dress with flowy sleeves. Maybe it's my childhood love from princesses and fairytales, maybe I'm just a fan of sleeve getting got in the breeze.

These were taken a few weeks ago, on an unseasonably warm November day. I put my boots back on in a hurry after we were done taking photos. I know that warm weather so late in the fall really isn't good for the environment, but I'm not complaining...

Emma

This girl is an absolute gem. A few weeks ago she helped me with a little styling project I had. One thing I love about my job is being surrounded by such amazing people. I am so thankful for all of you beauties. I am so lucky to be inspired by all of you everyday when I walk through the door.

Thank you.

Softly

Slow mornings are my favorite. The decision to jump out of bed and hit the gym or to wake up slowly is always difficult especially with  the weather getting colder. What helps me decide is balance.

Has it been a stressful week? Do I need to rest my body or do I need to squeeze in some cardio?

Today it was time for a slow morning. Just me, a cozy sweater, and an elephant mug full of coffee.

Simply

I've always been someone to pile on the layers, but lately I've opted for simpler dressing. I wear this dress at least twice a week. The fabric is so soft and the cut is so comfortable! I wear it with everything from boots, to sneakers to heels. I really need more pieces like this one in my life especially when things get crazy! It's just so easy to grab and throw on.

Big Breakfast

There's nothing like a big breakfast to start off a long day. These are some of my favorite things to cook with:

Quinoa bread, red potatoes, baby spinach, eggs, chia seeds and sriracha.

Octobers

No October would ever be complete without cider donuts. Happy Friday y'all!

Northbound

I got to spend the holiday weekend with my boyfriend. After getting home from Atlanta around midnight Friday, we headed north to my hometown to spend the weekend catching up on some fall activities. It was a nice change of pace for the both of us.

Last Day in Atlanta

My last day in Atlanta was spent wandering around the Little Five Points area of Atlanta. L5P was probably one of my favorite parts of the city. Every building was covered in some type of street art and the place was full of thrift stores and adorable little coffeeshops. It was a great to way to spend my last day. I explored the streets, bopping in and out of shops before heading to the airport to fly home to Boston.
