Fall is coming

 It's always hard for me to bid adieu to tan skin and days of freedom when September rolls around, but it's comforting knowing that summer will be back before we know it. I've gotta say I am beyond ready for sweater weather.  While, of course it's still about 1000 degrees outside I find myself ready to wrap myself in a cozy pullover and sip on some chai tea. I consider myself a summertime person. of you who know me personally will know that I am quite a fan of layering for fall and winter. A my cold weather uniform consists of exactly this, a sweater, a slip dress, tall socks, and my favorite boots.

Cape Cod

The last time I was on the Cape was when I was about 15, so going back at 22 was pretty refreshing. We were staying in Truro, which I found to be much less touristy than places like Hyannis or Provincetown. It was quiet and relaxing and exactly what I needed after a long summer of doing nothing but work. I just wish I could have had more time!

Zella Day at the Sinclair

A few weeks ago, me and a friend of mine from work, Janel went to see Zella Day. Working at Free People, this girl's music is everywhere, from the Free People Blog to the playlist we play at the store and with good reason. She currently only has one album out, Kicker, so it was awesome to know all the songs she performed! 

It was my first time seeing a show at the Sinclair in Cambridge and I must say that there is nothing like a small venue to really get a unique concert experience. I've always been one for a personal touch, whether it's something handmade with love and even just a little extra kindness. Being at a small venue, watching an artist I love with a cold Blue Moon in my hand is my idea of a good show. 

Awesome show, Zella! Cannot wait to see what you will do next! If y'all have not watched her video for Hypnotic DO IT!

Ossipee

This weekend my boyfriend and I headed up North for some fresh air. Nothing but each other, a bottle of Jack, and a canoe.

All the Right Ruffles

I know I've been MIA lately. This summer has been much busier than I anticipated. I recently took over social media Free People Boston so that has taken up a lot of my time this summer work-wise. The most I've really done on a personal level  photo-wise is gain 800+ followers on Instagram (finally.) I do feel bad that I've neglected this blog in the past couple weeks. I'll be sure to update y'all on everything that's been going on this summer.
